Carbondale - Bernice Boyd, 91, of Carbondale passed away peacefully at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Carbondale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Carbondale. Bernice was born February 24, 1925 in Parker City, IL to James Dophlas and Hulda Elizabeth (Newbold) Hancock. Bernice was united in marriage with Hugh Boyd on November 8, 1942 in Jackson, Missouri.
