Elijah Nelson White

Elijah Nelson White, resident of Carbondale, IL, passed from this earth November 29, 2020 after a pedestrian/vehicle accident.



Elijah was born on June 24, 2002 in Bagley, MN. He was a charismatic, loyal, and funny person who was true to himself regardless of the consequences.



Elijah was a 2020 high school graduate and recently enlisted in the US Army. He was looking forward to basic army combat training in January of 2021 at Fort Benning, Georgia.



Elijah attended Souls Harbor House of Prayer and Spirit of Life Church regularly.



Left to mourn his passing are his parents, John and Joan White; his sisters Carley and Jennifer White; his brother Jonathan White; and his nieces and nephews.



He was preceded in death by his sister, O’Peachie Contreras.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:00 pm, December 5, 2020 at the Spirit of Life Church in Du Quoin, IL
