Jennifer Kay Taylor

CARBONDALE - Jennifer Kay Taylor, 39, of Carbondale, passed away on July 12, 2012 at 3:34 a.m. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Jennifer was born July 10, 1973 in St Louis, MO. to Robert and Sandra (McIntosh) Taylor. Her father preceded her in death on February 21, 2012. Jennifer is survived by her mother; two sisters, Leigh and Ellen Taylor of Carbondale. She attended Progress Port, a workshop that teaches life and job skill training for residents with disabilities, in Carterville. A memorial service will be held at Meredith Funeral Home on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., with Father Joseph Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Progress Port in Carterville and will be accepted at the funeral home.
