Juanita E. Cheatham

Carbondale – Juanita E. Cheatham, 87, passed away at 5:45A.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her residence.



Juanita was born on January 30, 1930 to Charles Louis and Meta Elsie (Kettler) Frey in Waco, Texas.She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Holt of Carbondale and Kelly Greco of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Matthew Fridey, Michael Cheatham, Rachel Greco, Sarah Greco and Bethany Sisson; and three sisters, Barbara Jean Baxley of Waco, Texas, Gloria Anne Beeman of Fort Worth, Texas and Mary Lou Hudeck of Houston, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents.



Per her wishes there will be no services.



Memorials in her name may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois at 204 Halfway Road; Marion, IL  62959.



Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale assisted the family with arrangements.
