Kathryn Baba

CARBONDALE – Kathryn Baba, 63, of Carbondale, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.



Kathryn was born November 21, 1956 to Kenneth and Mary Jean (Crowe) Kleisner. She married James Baba on December 27, 1986 in Zion, Illinois.



She is survived by her husband, Jim Baba; children, Maggie Baba and Matthew Baba; mother, Mary Jean Kleisner; sisters, Barbara, Susan and Beth; and brother, John.



Kathryn worked for seventeen years of her thirty-seven years as an educator for Carbondale District 95. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepard in Carbondale.



A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
