CARBONDALE – Kevin Donald Tackett, 59, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home.

Kevin was born on March 27, 1964 to Verlin Ray Tackett and Joann (Clabby) James in Carbondale.

Kevin is survived by his brothers Ken Tackett and Keith Tackett, and niece Katherine Hines.

He was preceded in death by his father and niece Amanda Tackett.

Kevin was an avid race fan. He was a crew chief for many years for late model racing. He loved his dogs, CJ and Molly.
