Mary E. Dillon

Carbondale – Mary E. Dillon, 98 passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Parkway Manor in Marion.



Mary was born July 15, 1921 to Harry and Hattie (Biggs) Lipe. She was married to Ennis Dillon on March 25, 1940 in Cape Girardeau.



Mary attended Murdale Baptist Church and was a Supervisor Cook at District 95 in Carbondale until she retired.



Mary is survived by her daughter, Sandra (David) Crawshaw; two grandsons, Brian (Donna) Ray and Kenneth (Crystal) Ray, Jr; two granddaughters, Kimberly (Jack) Rennolds and Stephanie Dillon; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Melvin Lipe.



Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ennis Dillon; two sons, Darrell and Gary DeWayne Dillon; one daughter, Evelyn Joyce Dillon; her parents, Harry and Hattie Lipe; two sisters and six brothers.



Private family graveside services will be held at Boskydell Cemetery in Carbondale.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Boskydell Cemetery or donor’s choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.



Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale assisted the family with arrangements.
