Patti Annette Bain

Patti Annette Bain, 71, of Champaign peacefully left this life Sunday April 29th

at Champaign Heartland Health Care Center. A private graveside service will

be held at Snider Cemetery in Carbondale, IL on May 12. Family and friends

will gather at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.



Patti was born January 4, 1947 in Carbondale, IL to Edgar L. and Saraetta

(Biggs) Bain. She is preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are

a sister, Jane (Don) McDaniel of Mahomet, a brother, Eddie John (Becky)

Bain of Savoy, nephews, David McDaniel of Champaign and Matthew Bain

of Savoy, nieces Sarah (Anthony) Ranvestel of Gainesville, FL, and Rachel

(Robert) Simmons of Savoy. Also surviving are nine great nieces and nephews.



Patti graduated from Central High School and Parkland College in Champaign.

She loved her family, was a true patriot and enjoyed reading American and world history, a passion shared by her father.
