Sharon Houston

March 8, 1941 — July 12, 2016

Grand Tower – Sharon Clover Houston, 75, of Dongola passed away at 2:30 p.m. on July 12, 2016 in Union County Hospital.



Sharon was born in Grand Tower on March 8, 1941 to Bert Monroe and Bertha Mae Nation Clover.

Sharon is survived by her five sons, Jim Thomas of Cape Girardeau, Ted Lingle of Southside Tennessee, Randy Allen of Dexter, MO., Curt Houston of Anna, and Terry Houston of Carbondale; one brother, Joe (Betty) Clover of Murphysboro; two sisters, Sadie Ellett of Grand Tower, and Retha Clover of Olmstead; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.



She is proceeded in death by her parents.



Sharon worked in laboring and manufacturing for many years and was employed by the JR. Center in Anna.



Graveside services for Sharon will be on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower with Reverend Peggy Camp officiating.



Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to the Lincoln Square 2; PO Box 112, Jonesboro, IL 62952.
