Betty Calhoun Howell

Betty Calhoun Howell, 88, joined her savior Jesus in heaven on Thursday, April 11, 2024 with the support of Southern Illinois Hospice at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

Betty was born on April 11, 1936 to Ivan and Eileen (Roberts) Wilson in Anna. She married Donald Calhoun on June 7, 1952 in Anna. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2011. She married Richard Howell on April 20, 2013.

She is survived by her husband Richard, her 4 children Paula Ackerman, Lisa Skiersch, Sheree Mulvaney, and Bob Calhoun; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Norma Parrish.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Calhoun, and brother Larry Wilson.
