Beverly Ilene Parum

Murphysboro - Beverly Ilene Parum, 72, of Murphysboro, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital of Murphysboro. Beverly was born September 3, 1941 in Carbondale to Joe Allen and Nellie Mae (Wilson) Wright. She married Charles Frank Parum on September 6, 1958 in Odessa, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2010. Beverly is survived by two brothers, Gary (Lynette) Wright of Cambria, and Larry Wright of Carbondale; one sister, Janet (Danny) Walker of Makanda. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Jerry Wright. Beverly was a member of the Carbondale Church of God, and worked as a homemaker. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, in Goreville, with Reverend Roger Moore officiating. Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Memorials are the preferred form of remembrance and may be made to the family to assist with funeral costs.
