Brenda June Corzine

MAKANDA – Brenda June Corzine, 75, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Manor Court of Carbondale.

Brenda was born on June 23, 1950 to Arthur and Mildred (Butterfield) Vincent in Anna. In 1996, she married Galene Gene Corzine in Wolf Lake.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Galene Gene Corzine; son, Randy (Jennifer) Edmonds; grandchildren, Sam, Alyssa, and Megan Edmonds, all of Port Orchard, WA; and brother, Garry (Lynn) Vincent of Makanda, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mildred (Butterfield) Vincent, and her sister, Sondra Dalton.

Brenda was a quiet and sincere person with a dry sense of humor and a deep love for family, faith, and tradition. She loved Christmas, classic movies like It’s a Wonderful Life and Meet John Doe, and simple pleasures like candy and chocolates. Her family will always remember the Sunday family dinners, summer reunions, and fall gatherings at Pine Hills filled with food, campfires, and time together. Though she was never the loudest person in the room, Brenda cared deeply and loved deeply, and she will be greatly missed.
