Carla Jo Waddington-Starling

Murphysboro – Carla Jo Waddington-Starling, 58, of Murphysboro, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at her home.



Carla was born December 27, 1960 to Monroe and Virginia Lea (Heern) Waddington in Carbondale.



Carla is survived by her sons, Michael Ray Starling, Jr. of West Frankfort and Patrick R. Starling of Du Quoin; mother, Virginia Lea Heern Waddington; brothers, Alan “Al” Wayne Waddington of Crossville and Barry Lynn Waddington of Murphysboro; and grandchildren, Alexis, Jaxsen, Rylee and John Starling, Brynlee Johnson, and Rayleigh and Connor Meadows.



She is preceded in death by her father and brother, Wade Waddington.



Carla worked as a secretary for Ellis Trucking. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Carbondale.



Memorial services will be held at 1PM on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale with Rev. John Annable officiating. Visitation will be 11AM until 1PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
