Donald Payne

MARION – Donald Payne, 68, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.



Donald was born on April 11, 1949 in Owensboro, KY to George and Juanita (Watson) Payne.

He is survived by three children; four brothers, George Thomas "Tommy" Payne of Owensboro, KY, Anthony B. "Tony" (Brenda) Payne of DuQuoin, Doug Rogers of Hollywood, FL, Mike (Rose) Payne of West Salem; sister, Shara (Gene) Rideout of Bardwell, KY; and companion, Barbara Lindsay of Marion.



He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.



Donald was of the Catholic faith. He worked on a farm as a farm hand. He loved being outside and working in his garden.



A memorial service for Donald will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Hurricane Baptist Church in Herrin with Pastor Jeffrey Gee officiating.
