Gary Hudson

Grand Tower – Gary Hudson, 52, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.



Gary was born on October 12, 1963 to Frank and Delores (Lindsey) Hudson in Murphysboro. Gary was united in marriage to Stacey Cooper on June 24, 1988 in Jackson, Missouri. They were married for 26 years and she survives.



Survivors include two daughters, Dianna (Nathan) Smith of Anna and April Hudson of Chester; brothers, Neil Hudson, Darrel (Sheila) Hudson, Troy (Sandi) Hudson, and John (Tina) Hudson all of Grand Tower; sisters, Dianna (AC) Snider of Sand Ridge and Teresa (Russell) Tripp of Grand Tower; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.



He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents.



Gary worked as a truck driver for many years until becoming disabled.



Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Meredith Funeral Home in Carbondale. Graveside service will follow on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower with Reverend Richard Pyatt officiating.



Memorials may be made to the family in care of Dianna Smith to help with expenses.
