Harriett Evanan Fulmer

CARBONDALE- Harriett Evanan Fulmer passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her residence in Carbondale.



Harriett was born on August 12, 1927 in Shipman, to John Henry and Emma Margaret (Collman) Ketring. She married Frank M. Fulmer Jr. on October 17, 1947 at Mountain Home, AR. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1991.



She is survived by her son, John M. (Donna) Fulmer of Carbondale; two daughters, Katherine L. Fulmer of Carbondale, and Alesia E. Lipe of De Soto; brother, Erdman Ketring of Carbondale; sister, Adalaide Glasgow of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.



Harriett is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; two brothers, Elliot and Eugene Ketring; one grandson, Travis Fulmer and son-in-law, Bruce E. Lipe.



Graveside services for Harriett will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Annable officiating. Friends may gather at the cemetery for a time of visitation from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.



Memorials may be made to the family to assist in the purchase of a gravestone and will be accepted by Meredith Funeral Home, 300 S. University Ave.; Carbondale, IL 62901
