James "Jim" F. Burnett

CARBONDALE - James "Jim" F. Burnett, 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Jim was born November 9, 1946 to Harley and Mary Ann (Gidak) Burnett in Du Quoin. He served in the U.S. Navy. He later married Mary Ann Payne.

Burial will take place at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may to an organization of the donor's choosing.
