Kari Ann Ryan

Kari Ann Ryan, age 53, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois.

 Kari was born on January 24, 1973 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Monte and Francis (Murrin) Ryan. She shared 16 wonderful years with her fiancé, Sam Graf.

 She was preceded in death by her parents.

 She was a loving mother, devoted fiancé, and a woman who found happiness in the things she loved most. She had a special place in her heart for animals and butterflies, and she absolutely loved the Halloween season, fall weather, and everything spooky. She enjoyed watching horror movies, especially during her favorite time of year, and she never missed a chance to cheer on her favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts. 

 She leaves behind her three beloved children, Andrew Piccin, Devin Ryan, and Sarah DeVaul; and her fiancé, Sam Graf. Her love, laughter, strength, and unique spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed every day, but her memory will live on through the people she loved and the little things in life that brought her joy.
