Larry G. Fine

MAKANDA - Larry G. Fine, age 84, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Marion VA Medical Center Community Living Center.

Larry was born on May 18, 1939 in Plattsmouth, NE to Regie and Geraldine (Shryock) Harvill. Larry married Karen Hawk on November 25, 1981 in Emmett, ID.

Larry served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 - 1964. Larry loved his horses, riding and camping in the mountains. He picked up golfing later in life and loved it.

Larry is survived by his wife, Karen; sons, Matt and Ronn Fine; daughter, Tina; sister, Christine (Floyd) Richmond; and brother, Tom.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Everett; and sister, Diane.

Graveside Services for Larry will be held at 11:30am on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Evergreen Cemetery in Makanda with military rites.
