Marilyn A. Mansfield

DESOTO – Marilyn A. Mansfield, 72, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at home with her family by her side.

Marilyn was born September 4, 1951 to Lewis and Mary Jane (Beasley) Breeden in Carbondale.

Marilyn was the office manager for Dr. Fasnacht for many years.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Michelle) Shelton of DeSoto; daughter, Mary Jane Trexler of Leoma, TN; five grandchildren, Gaige Shelton, Karah Shelton, and Kallie Heavrin all of DeSoto, Tasha Thompson of Flora and Tory (Rick) Sample of Leoma, Tennessee; three great-great grandchildren, Raegan Sample, Dexter Sample and Harper Thompson.

Private family services were held.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Clyde “Squeak” Shelton and Butch Mansfield.
