Rickey Lynn Smith

GRAND TOWER - Rickey Lynn Smith of Grand Tower, Illinois passed away at his home on January 31st 2022.



Rickey was born on August 11th 1950 to Luther Gilbert Smith and Mable Lucille McDonald in Minglewood, Tennessee.



He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Victoria and 3 grandchildren.



Rickey is survived by four children. Bill and Stacey Smith of Sioux City, IA, Rickey and Nina Smith of Plainfield, IL, Nicholas and Alexandra Smith of Savannah, GA and Nicole and Jeffrey Downey of De Soto, IL. He is also survived by his Brothers and Sisters and many grandchildren.



Funeral services for Rickey will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the Lighthouse Christian Assembly Church in Grand Tower with Pastor Richard Pyatt officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Meredith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
