Sally A. Murphy

Sally a beloved educator and adventurer, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025 at the age of 84. A dedicated teacher and later a respected principal, she touched countless lives with her leadership, compassion and commitment to education.

When Sally was in her 30's she became an amateur pilot, a reflection of her adventurous spirit and determination. After retiring, she enjoyed traveling across the United States and abroad, always embracing nature and new experiences. She found joy in spending quiet time on her patio watching hummingbirds and continued sharing her love of learning by teaching computer classes during retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Murphy; her parents Thelma and Ed Tiffany; her brother, Warren Tiffany; her sister Pam Thomas, she is survived by her nephew Derek Thomas (Dorthea); Nieces Cindy Paney (Jan), Stacey Bezel (John), Kelly Pankonin (Steve); nephew Randy Tiffany (Janice); brother-in-law Jim Thomas; Sister-in-law Ruthann Tiffany; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; and of course the hummingbirds she loved so much.

Sally will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
