CARBONDALE - Tony Allen Lawson, Jr. age 44, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2025 as a result of an automobile accident.
Tony was born on August 27, 1981 in Richmond, VA to his father, Tony (Karen) Lawson, Sr. of Virginia and Sue (Wells) Lawson of Makanda.
Tony graduated high school at Carbondale Community High School. He loved animals and especially his goldendoodle Louie.
Tony is survived by his father, Tony (Karen) Sr.; mother, Sue; daughter, Melody; brother, Blake; uncle, Tom (Karen); and aunt, Linda (Randy).
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and uncles Kenny and Gary Wells.
Per Tony's wishes cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.
