Outside of education, Virginia was a beloved member of Murdale Baptist Church since 1988. It was there where she served on two committees and as a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed quilting and traveling during her free time. Most importantly, Virginia was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her family dearly, and spoke of them with great pride.
