Wesley Robertson

CARBONDALE – Wesley Tyler Robertson, age 34, passed away at home on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Wesley was born on February 20, 1991. He is survived by his parents, Richard & Tammy Robertson of Carbondale and parent, Deanna Kelsay of Belleville; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles & Nicole Robertson of Benton and Elliot Robertson of Carbondale; sisters and brother-in-law, Erika & Joshua Vargas of Carbondale and Kayla Pertee of Glen Carbon; nieces, Reggie, Charlie, Avery and Kayleigh; nephew, CJ; great grandparent, Linda LaRue of Carbondale; grandparent Loreea Robertson of Carbondale; aunts, Kim Robertson of Hurst, aunts & uncles, Clara & Don Lancaster of Quincy, Chaz & Briana Robertson of Carbondale, Tammy & Chris Krause of Troy, Rita & Brian Lauth of Gerald, Renee & Mark Harbers of Hardin; as well as 10 cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Wesley Robertson II; grandmother, Alice Jo Robertson; grandparents, Charles & Bonnie Turner; and brother, Joey Pertee, Jr.

Wesley worked as a Tankerman/Engineer for Inland Marine for several years. He served his country in the Marines from 2011-2013. Wesley enjoyed playing cornhole and spending time with family.

A Celebration of Wesley’s life hosted by his family will be August 16, 2025 at 925 Giant City Rd Carbondale Illinois from 11-3pm.
